Students will work through the process this week and write their own personal narratives!
This week the mathematicians in our class will continue to review MONEY! They will use all of the knowledge they have learned this week to practice counting pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters.
MATH FACTS: We have started our fact fluency check ups. Students are beginning to "Sail Through the Facts" as they work to master their addition and subtraction facts through 20. Students will be given a check up every Tuesday and Friday (as long as the schedule allows) to help them progress and ensure mastery. How can YOU HELP? PLEASE have your student log on to Xtra Math nightly. Your child should spend 10 minutes max. You may also practice their fact triangles with them at home if you notice that their progress on Xtra Math is weak. YOU CAN LEARN MORE by clicking on the "MATH" tab at the top of this page. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
This week in Social Studies we will begin discussing economics and we will review the concepts of economic needs and wants as well as goods and services.
